During the meeting, the following items were discussed:
1. Dues for 2022 will be $76.50. The cost will allow us to maintain our lunch meetings at $3 per member.
2. The Grand Lodge meeting is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 4th, at the Mongolian Grill.
3. The Supreme Lodge Convention will be in Charleston, South Carolina, from July 31st through August 3rd. If any Brother would like to attend this Convention and represent our Grand Lodge, the member should make a declaration at our next meeting.
4. Our next lodge meeting will be on Monday, March 28th.
5. This year’s UNA Sportsman’s Dinner and Silent Auction will feature Basketball Legend, Bill Walton. The cost to attend this year’s event is $125 per person. Brother Marvin has offered to reserve a table for our lodge if we have enough interest to fill eight chairs with our members and their guest. If you are interested, you need to let Marvin know soon and be prepared to pay him in advance for the seats you want to reserve.
6. The passing of Brother Dr. Dan Howard was recognized, and all his accomplishments were mentioned. The lodge donated $150 to the UNA Lion Habitat in memorial to Brother Howard, which was at the request of Ann, Dan’s wife.
7. During the meeting, Brother Ken Patterson was elected the Grand Chancellor of the State Lodge to fulfill the remainder of Brother Howard’s term.
No further business was discussed, and the meeting was adjourned. Again our next lodge meeting will be on Monday, March 28th.
