During the meeting, the following items were discussed:
The Grand Lodge meeting has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 25th at the Mongolian Grill. More information will be forthcoming.
The Supreme Lodge Convention is going to be in Charleston, South Carolina from July 31st through August 3rd. The Grand Lodge is anticipating sending Brother Leslie Johnson as the representative for our local and grand lodge should the logistics be worked out.
This year’s UNA Sportsman’s Dinner and Silent Auction will feature Basketball Legend Bill Walton. Event tickets cost remains $125 per person. Brother Marvin is requesting that those members who are interested in attending pay for their seats as soon as possible.
The next lodge meeting will be on Monday, April 25th.
During the meeting, Brother Robert Steen shared the accomplishments of Brother General Jim Noles with the group and recognized the recent installment of Brother Jim into the Florence Walk of Fame at the Marriott Conference Center. Brother Lieutenant Colonel Ed Yeilding received this honor in a recent year.
