During the meeting, the following items were discussed:

  1. Brother Leslie was asked to update the membership on his proposed diversionary youth program that he hoped to partner with through our lodge and the National Judge Association.  He said he is currently reaching out to the Northwest Shoals Community College to see if they would be interested in partnering with us and assisting with the necessary resources to make this program viable.  He also said he was contacting the former Optimist Club members to see if they would be interested in helping us get this program going.  He said he would continue to update the members as things progressed and would be reaching out to various members for assistance when needed.
