During the meeting, the following items were discussed:
A summary of the meeting held by Monte Bello Lodge #10 at the regular venue is as follows. The meeting started at 12 PM with Brother Rob Tyree presiding. Seven members attended, and there were no visitors. Brother Dan Richardson led the Pledge, Creed, and Invocation. Brother Hermon Graham read the Minutes of the previous meeting, and Brother Marvin Whisenant gave the Treasurer’s Report.
The following items were discussed under Old Business. Brother Earl Gardner updated the group on the health condition of Bill Phillip’s wife, who had surgery and is now recuperating at home. The group expressed their sympathy and prayers for her recovery. Brother Hermon informed the group that Brother Steve Edwards was absent and would share the information from the State Meeting at the next meeting. Brother Leslie Johnson reported on his conversation with John Winston about the possible program for troubled youth and said they would meet again soon to finalize the details.
The following items were discussed under New Business. Brother Marvin explained the plan for the school program fundraiser and what tasks needed to be done to make it successful. Brother Dan shared his visit to Jacks on Florence Boulevard and his discussion with the manager about how they could support our fundraising project.
The following item was discussed under Brothers in Distress. Brother Hermon shared that Brother Ken Patterson was still struggling with his health and was considering more surgery. The group offered their prayers and support for him.
